MERS-CoV

中东呼吸综合征相关冠状病毒（Middle East respiratory syndrome–related coronavirus,MERS-CoV）或 HCoV-EMC/2012 是导致中东呼吸综合征 (MERS) 的病毒。MERS-CoV 是一种冠状病毒，可感染人类，蝙蝠和骆驼。它是一种有包膜的、正向的、单链的 RNA 病毒，通过与 DPP4 受体结合进入其宿主细胞。MERS-CoV 病毒是冠状病毒 β 组 (Betacoronavirus) 谱系 C 的成员，MERS-CoV 基因组在系统发育上分为两个分支，即进化枝 A 和 B。
